meteorological data alternate download

Is there any possible to download meteorological data file of GDAS one degree file from HYSPLIT home web page, rather than downloading from HYSPLIT 4 application. to run in HYSPLIT 4... It is taking more time to download from application...

You can use an FTP program and download the data directly from our FTP server, however the PC version already uses FTP to download the file from our FTP server, so if it is slow through the GUI, it will be slow with an FTP program.

You can download the 1 degree GDAS from:
ftp://arlftp.arlhq.noaa.gov/archives/gdas1/

You can also try downloading it from the University of Alaska Fairbanks FTp server:
ftp://gdas-server.iarc.uaf.edu/gdas1/
