Hi,

I have tried to use variable emissions with efile and I have generated a EMITIMES with 8 hours of variable emission. This is my file:

I have run hysplit but after two hours, at 15.00 ,16.00, 17.00 and 18.00 the output concentration is zero, and I have tried different methods… I don’t know which could be the problem with my configuration because this output is not possible with my emissions. I have checked the message file but I couldn’t find solution. Would be possible that hysplit model hasn’t read emission after 12.00 hour?

I am going to send you emission file and control file. I posted an example as mine.

The problem is in your meteorological file. Do you have enough hours to cover the duration of the run? or you just have a couple of hours in the file?

I have tried to run another hours without variable emission file and I got values different from zero. I have though it could be the file or the format. Could I need to change configuration of my computer ? or to change something in the EMITIMES file (space or ..) . Because hysplit model reads and understands the file because the output for the first hour is the same with and without the file, but next hours are the problem.....

Please change your duration in the EMITIMES file from 9999 to 0001.
