Concentration vs distance

Post by Mujuni » June 4th, 2020, 3:46 am

Hi,
Is it possible to tabulate concentration vs distance using the concentration output results/plots? If possible, how can I obtain it?
Thank you.

It is very common for people to want to do their own analysis of the concentration output.
The following are options for reading the cdump files.

1. convert the files to asc format.
There is a HYSPLIT utility called con2asc which will convert the binary files to asc format so you can read them more easily.

2. Format of the binary files is here if you want to make your own reader.

3. a python reader for the cdump files is available here. https://github.com/noaa-oar-arl/monetio

4. Some R code is available here. https://github.com/rich-iannone/SplitR
