HYSPLIT Forum: hysplitbbs.arl.noaa.gov

I'm trying to provide HYSPLIT with data (converted from wrfout files to ARL format) at each model time step, which is every 6 seconds. Is there anyway to get output for HYSPLIT trajectories every 6 seconds (or something less than 1 minute). I was able to provide it input at 1 minute intervals and get output at that frequency, but would like to do so for every timestep I have.

The smallest time step HYSPLIT uses is one minute.

It is not possible to output at times shorter than the smallest time step.
The code would need to be modified to use smaller time steps.
