HYSPLIT Forum: hysplitbbs.arl.noaa.gov

I'm currently downloading all the necessary files for the installation of HYSPLIT on my PC and I've noticed that the only installer available from the url (https://ready.arl.noaa.gov/hyreg-bin/gethysplit.pl) is called HYSPLIT_win64R.exe.

I am running Windows 7 on a 32-bit OS and I am wondering whether this application will run on this laptop? Or is there a 32-bit version that I can get access to and download?

Hi Kevin,

We are transitioning to only support the 64-bit version. The latest version we have for 32 bits is the distribution version 854 (January 2017).
I can send you that version.

It would be great if you could send the latest 32-bit version (854) on to me and I will look at upgrading my laptop in the meantime.
