Hi,
I'm trying to run the HYSPLIT model -online, archived, not VAFTAD- to simulate Vesuvius VA cloud towards Romania. Yet I am not able to understand wether The term "release quantity" displayed on the maps is referred as the total quantity released during the eruption or it is about m63 fraction.
And also I did not found the way to get a concentration distribution file, although on the maps there are the max and min concentration values.

When you choose for the Mass Eruption Rate "Calculate from eruption height", the "Release Quantity" amount on the map is the m63 fraction.

Yes, there are max and min values on the maps, but the concentration distribution is not given.
