HRRRv1 Display Data Text Profile problem
I am able to use HRRR v1 files to simulate dispersion--no problem. But I also want to obtain the meteorological data used. When I step through: Meteorology-Display Data-Text Profile, the error message: could not read "{F:/HRRR files}/hysplit.20190321.06z.hrrra": no such file or directory. The file is correct. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your time. David

Re: HRRRv1 Display Data Text Profile problem
Is there a space in the "HRRR files" directory name? If so, that might have caused the error.

Re: HRRRv1 Display Data Text Profile problem
That was the problem. Many thanks. It is odd that the CONCENTRATION side of HYSPLIT could read the directory but the METEOROLOGY side could not. Anyway, problem solved and thanks again for the prompt reply. David

Re: HRRRv1 Display Data Text Profile problem
I spoke too soon. Initially I opened one HRRR file and it contained the 6 hours of meteo data as expected. However, when I tried to open additional HRRR files I had this error: AND now I can't get any HRRR files to Display Data to 'profile'. I've reset HYSPLIT w/o benefit.
Very bizarre. Any help is greatly appreciated. David

Re: HRRRv1 Display Data Text Profile problem
Some additional information that doesn't make sense. This file is properly read my both the METEOROLOGY and CONCENTRATION routines:
"F:\HRRR_files\hysplit.20190321.00z.hrrra"
This file is not. Both were downloaded from the same FTP server at the same time. I have found grouping of files for 2019 that will and will not input correctly. Any suggestions on a remedy are greatly appreciated. David
