Hi,
I am a little confused about deposition. In the tutorial, to show the concentration display, the height range is from 0 to 100 m (as in the attached image).
Why is it the average concentration between a height range, instead of the concentration at 0 m level?
Also, is 100 m generally used, or does this height range vary with species of pollutants?
If I select "yes" in the control file for wet deposition, does the obtained concentration in 0-100 m include wet deposition? As I understand, pollutants removed from atmosphere by wet deposition will enter water body or into the soil, is it correct? If so, then in a rainy day simulation, is there a way to check the results for wet deposition, say, removal rate, total amount of pollutant be washed way, etc.?
Thank you very much!

Re: Deposition - height range selection
Please check the following information about deposition in the model:
https://www.ready.noaa.gov/documents/Tu ... m_dry.html
https://www.ready.noaa.gov/documents/Tu ... m_wet.html
the deposition layer is set at 0 m. So the model will not do any averaging between the deposition and concentrations.
