error-origin lat-lon must be identical
Dear all,
I have a problem with HYSPLIT Cluster analysis becuse of in simulation Log I read:
ERROR - origin lat-lon for all trajectories must be identical. Differs in
D:/hysplit4/cluster/endpts/tdump11100300.
Can you have idea about my problem?
I'm sure that lat-log are identical for all my trajectories.
Thank you very much

Re: error-origin lat-lon must be identical
You're positive they all have the same trajectory source latitude-longitude?
If so, please send me your set of trajectories, or a sub-set for which this error occurs and I'll look at it.

Re: error-origin lat-lon must be identical
Dear Barbara,
I am having the same problem with my tdump files
It gives me en error like this:
ERROR - origin lat-lon for all trajectories must be identical. Differs in tdump...
but I am sure they have all the same long lat origin.
What should I do?
thanks
Claudia

Dear Barbara,
I am having the same problem with a set of back trajectories
but I llok into them and the lat long origin is the same.
Could you please help me?
thanks

Ok,
I solved this problem.
I runned again the back trajectories, in the same way, and it works.
The only difference now is that I do not use the tdump file fo plotting the frequency

Dear All,
I have got this problem also. How you solve this problem?
I run backward trajectories from 1 location on 31 Days in March.
Could you please help me ?
Many Thanks!!

Re: error-origin lat-lon must be identical
As a first step, please get the current version of HYSPLIT, then re-run the cluster analysis.

Re: error-origin lat-lon must be identical
Hello, I have download the newest version of hysplit ( Feb 2016 release )
I still have the same error "origin lat-lon for all trajectories must be identical".
I need to do the backward trajectory of a domain which contains 15 gridpoints.
Can anyone help me ?

Please send a sample set of trajectories with this issue.
