Hi there, Is there a tutorial file around the FMDV simulations? I see there is a file in the advanced menu to incorporate virus decay and insect survival based on environmental parameters. Will we get a chance to explore this in this workshop?

Could you please elaborate what the FMDV simulation is?

Foot and mouth disease virus will not be covered in this workshop. Information on how to simulate FMDV through the atmosphere in HYSPLIT is outlined here:

A HYSPLIT FMDV simulation is covered in the advanced HYSPLIT tutorial here:

Note that the advanced HYSPLIT tutorial is based on an older version of HYSPLIT, so simulations with the latest version of HYSPLIT might be a little bit different.
