Vertical turbulence choices

Are some vertical turbulence options better for some terrains than others? Four broad terrain categories could be plain, mountainous, coastal, and hilly.
We have yet to identify one particular turbulence parameterization that consistently performs statistically better than other options for a particular location.
Later in the workshop (Chapter 12) we will go over how to use a range of model options to create an ensemble.
