Reference/documentation for source geolocation and source-receptor matrix

Hello,
While the "source geolocation" (under trajectory statistics) and "source-receptor matrix approach" (under source attribution methods) in:
http://www.ready.noaa.gov/documents/Tut ... index.html
are very useful tools, I spent some times to find out more detailed description or related theories behind of these methods but in vain, except for description of how to use these methods in the on-line tutorial and user manual. Could anyone help?
