HYSPLIT Forum: hysplitbbs.arl.noaa.gov

Hi everyone!

After installing HYSPLIT in my macOS, I clicked on hysplit.tcl in the guicode folder. However, I am getting an error like this:

I have downloaded TCL and ImageMagick so I am unsure what the problem is. I can open the hysplit.sh app from the desktop but it doesn't seem to be outputting files in the working directory. Thanks.

Can you give us more information about what it is doing?
Can you do Trajectory/ quick start / Run Example and get a plot?

Please check if the HYSPLIT working directory is properly set from HYSPLIT GUI. Open the "Advanced" menu and drill down to "Configuration Setup > Set Directories." Check if the "Working directory" field is pointing to the directory you are expecting HYSPLIT outputs.
