For information on a unique use of HYSPLIT for predicting the spread and impact of wind-borne organisms, contaminants and pollutants see the
TAPPAS – Tool for Assessing Pest and Pathogen Aerial Spread web site at:

TAPPAS is a collaboration between CSIRO, the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) and Intersect.

Is it possible to run HYSPLIT models on an R-based platform any available package? Anyone working on or interested in developing a package for this purpose?
