2018 HYSPLIT Europe Workshop

A 3-day PC/Mac HYSPLIT workshop will be given May 15-17, 2018, in Barcelona, Spain (a workshop is also planned for College Park, MD on June 12-15, 2018). The Barcelona workshop will be focused on the use of the most recent version of the model on the PC/Mac and its applications.
This workshop is a subset of the 4-day HYSPLIT Workshop held in the U.S. and will contain most of the material covered after the 1st day of the U.S. workshop. As such, users should know how to install the model and run a basic trajectory simulation, as these topics will not be covered. Participants will be provided with an extensive hands-on training on how to solve atmospheric dispersion problems and several real world examples of increasing complexity.
The workshop will composed of some theory, examples, and hands-on approaches. A background in meteorology will be helpful for understanding the theory, but is not required.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required and is now open. There is no fee for the workshop, however participants are responsible for their own travel expenses and arrangements.
