#9.2 Step 5

Post by aleya »

Can you explain how to define two layers, as suggested in step 5 of section 9.2? There's no accompanying graphic and I can't see where in the Setup Run menu this can be adjusted. Thanks!

When setting up a concentration run, concentration levels are defined as follows: Concentration > Setup Run > Pollutant, Deposition and Grids setup button > Grid 1 (for the first concentration grid):

Set the number of vertical levels
Set the height of levels

If the number of vertical levels is set to 1 and the height of levels set to 100, then you have one level from the surface to 100m.

If the number of vertical levels set to 2 and the height of levels set as 800 1000, then you have one level set from the surface to 800m and another set from 800m-1,000m.

To change the level in a contour plot (i.e., Concentration > Display > Concentration > Contours menu), chose the level information (Vertical Display, From Bottom Level, Through Top Level).
