Unable to download meteorological data

Post any defects you find in the HYSPLIT software here. The HYSPLIT Developers carefully monitor this list and will work diligently to repair any reported problems. When posting a bug report, please specify both the HYSPLIT version and operating system you are using.

Unable to download meteorological data

I encountered the following problem when followed the path: Meteorology > ARL DATA FTP > Archive > then selected the option GDAS 1 deg-3P. The message" FTP Failed : arlftp.arlhq.noaa.gov /pub/archives/gdas1/gdas1.jan13.w1 ". The final part indicates the data I am trying to download.

Is anybody familiar with the situation?

Please try it again. The data file is fine. Something must have interfered with your download.
