Solid particles do not sediment backward in time correctly

Hi,

If I rlease particles (solid speres) at a certain height, in a foreward run, they sediment down as expected.

If I do the same thing in a backward run, they also sediment downwards. I would expect the particles to rise up back in time. The meteorological part (i.e. lat-lon displacement) works as expected i.e. it travels in opposite direction of the foreward run.

Unfortunately the forums disc quota for pictures is exceeded and I am not permitted to post a link to the output. I am happy to provide the fwd and bwd runs upon request.

Best,
Friedrich
