Greetings everyone!!! I hava a problem with the Hysplit in Mac. The program run very well until my student write a wrong comand in the terminal.
He tried to write the comand to call the hysplit (./hysplit4.tcl) but he wrote ./guicode/hysplit4.tcl hysplit4.tcl and ./guicode/hysplit4.tcl and the the hysplit crash. I reinstall and even download again the program and the error is still present. When I run the program and try the example of the quick star in the trajectory and concentration the program crash and the error is:
For trajectory:
Error: child killed: segmentation violation
child killed: segmentation violation
child killed: segmentation violation
while executing
"exec $exec_dir/hyts_std"
(procedure "Traj_quick" line 12)
invoked from within
"Traj_quick E"
invoked from within
".tomenu.menus.trajec.m.sub1 invoke active"
("uplevel" body line 1)
invoked from within
"uplevel #0 [list $w invoke active]"
(procedure "tk::MenuInvoke" line 50)
invoked from within
"tk::MenuInvoke .tomenu.menus.trajec.m.sub1 1"
(command bound to event)

For concentration:
Error: child killed: segmentation violation
child killed: segmentation violation
child killed: segmentation violation
while executing
"exec $exec_dir/hycs_std"
(procedure "Conc_quick" line 12)
invoked from within
"Conc_quick E"
invoked from within
".tomenu.menus.concen.m.sub1 invoke active"
("uplevel" body line 1)
invoked from within
"uplevel #0 [list $w invoke active]"
(procedure "tk::MenuInvoke" line 50)
invoked from within
"tk::MenuInvoke .tomenu.menus.concen.m.sub1 1"
(command bound to event)
I dont know what happen with the program. The Mac run Mac OS X 10.7.5 and the tcl/tk is the latest version. The version of Hysplit 4 is registred.
Thanks for reading and your future help.

I am not entirely sure what is happening with your system.
Please delete the Hysplit4 directory entirely and reinstall the system.
Were you able to run the model before this happened in your system?
If not, please try updating your OS.
