I have a problem when I try to do a special run - daily..
Here is the error message I get.

From the error message it looks like your starting trajectory date/time is not in the meteorological file.

But I don't understand because I selected all the meteorological files for the date I want to do the trajectory..

How many days back are you running the special daily run? Since you are going backwards you should add January meteorological files as well depending on how many days back you are going.

The special daily run is to 12 from 18 February 2014 and the backward is 120 hours so until February 7.
I also add January file but it's not working anymore..

tdump files created until February 14 midnight..

I don't know what to do...

You need to change the input for "Top of Model" to some large number like 10000 because you set it to 500 meters which means any trajectory at or above 500 meters will be out of the model domain.

It doesn't change anything.. If you have no more ideas, I can see with a colleague tomorrow..

1 - are you able to run one normal trajectory with the setup you configured?

2 - send a screen dump of the special daily input page as you have it configured.

3 - send your CONTROL and SETUP.CFG file for review

1- It worked yesterday but not anymore..

3- I can't send you CONTROL.. and I don't find SETUP.CFG..

From this error, it looks like you are missing the ASCDATA.CFG file which usually resides in the "working" directory of HYSPLIT. What directory are you running this in? That directory should contain a CONTROL file and possibly a SETUP.CFG file. You should be running this from the C:\hysplit4\working directory.
