Hi,

I was using HYSPLIT on a PC. It is working fine.

However, I got a fast Mac (OS- Catalina) computer and I installed HYSPLIT on it including ImageMagick. When I run the sample, the following error is displayed:
...........................
Warning: locale not supported by Xlib, locale set to C
Warning: locale not supported by Xlib, locale set to C
while executing
"exec $X_dir/xterm -fn fixed -e $exec_dir/trajplot $arg1 $arg2 $arg3 $arg4 $arg5 $arg6 $arg7 $arg8 $arg9 $arga $argb $argc"
(procedure "run_traj_plot" line 61)
invoked from within
"run_traj_plot "adhoc""
(procedure "Traj_quick" line 18)
invoked from within
"Traj_quick E"
(menu invoke)
.............................

Can anyone help to resolve it?

I am not familiar with this error, but first let us start with checking your directory settings. Please make sure your directories are set correctly, and be sure the unix x-windows directory is left blank. This might be the source of the problems. As a reminder, this is found under Advanced > Configuration Setup > Set Directories.
See the attached image for reference:

These are my settings on my mac, so you will need to ensure you have the correct settings for your system. If you need help finding your directory locations please let me know.

Leaving the UNIX X window directory path blank solved my problem. Earlier I had a path to the Xlib there.
