Mac OS Catalina: enable Hysplit to be a 'safe' program

The first time I run any of the menu options from the GUI, I get an error and have to go to 'Security & Privacy' and click 'Allow Anyway'. Then it runs fine every subsequent time. Is there a way to set Hysplit as a safe program universally so this doesn't keep popping up? (Sorry I missed this at the beginning)

I don't believe there is a way to set it as a safe program. I believe you have to do what you are doing, each time you run a new executable, it will ask for your permission. As Roland said, this only happens once so for all subsequent uses, you will not need to give approval. Sorry for this cumbersome step, but you are doing the right thing!
