For the training, we are using past data and simulation to run the model (with tutorial). This help us to understand the Hysplit software and how it works. Is there a link for us to use for real-time data to use in "Hysplit" to run the model?
Thanks

Re: Real-time calculation
Registered HYSPLIT users can run HYSPLIT with forecast meteorology available at:
ftp.arl.noaa.gov/pub/forecast
ftp.arl.noaa.gov/pub/forecast
Re: Real-time calculation
I am try to connect the dots. What type of "Meteorology files" are we need to run model for example in the "Trajectory Setup" to make it real-time data calculation. I am assuming this will apply for "concentration setup" too.
Thanks

Re: Real-time calculation
You will first need to download forecast ARL met files, which can be downloaded to your machine from: ftp.arl.noaa.gov/pub/forecast
Then you can load these files into HYSPLIT using the Add Meteorology Files button you circled in the attachment.

If ftp.arl.noaa.gov/pub/forecast doesn't work for you, you can try ftp.arl.noaa.gov/forecast
