sand storm

Hi, I run sand storm exercise with downloaded data from Sahara that you made available in webinar and it took too much time. I had to kill it in order to start day 4 of webinar, is it right? I have an i7 processor computer with 12 Gb ram memory. Thanks.

Sorry for the late response. Yes. I wonder if you forced the time step to 30 minutes (Advanced - Configuration Setup - Concentration - #1 Time Steps).
If you left it to automatically compute the time step, due to the high winds aloft, it will go to 1 minute time steps, and so run MUCH more slowly.
