Trouble getting GDAS data

I have trouble downloading GDAS data. I tried downloading them via the GUI, but got an error suggesting the source was relocated. Tried to manually set the Archive server to "ftp.nomads.ncdc.noaa.gov" + directory "/GDAS", but I got "FTP failed" error.

Hi there,
In section 3.2 bullet point 3 there is a URL to download the data.
ftp://arlftp.arlhq.noaa.gov/pub/archives/
Type the url above and you will be taken to all the available archived met data. Scroll to the appropriate folder and you can download the data file.
