HYSPLIT Forum: hysplitbbs.arl.noaa.gov

A four-day HYSPLIT workshop will be given online from June 14 to 17, 2022. Monday, June 13, is set aside as a preworkshop day for illustrating Hysplit installation and answering installation questions. The virtual workshop will be focused on the use of the most recent version of the model on the PC/Mac and its Graphical User Interface (GUI).

Space is limited and advance registration is required. Registration will be open on Tuesday, May 3. There is no charge for the workshop.

Is it possible for us to get the recorded installation tutorial happening right now so that I can follow along and reinstall from the beginning? My issue is that the HYSPLIT shortcut in my desktop doesn't open into a GUI mode rather it opens into adobe acrobat as a readable file.

We will post links to video recordings to the workshop agenda webpage at the end of the day. Processing video recordings takes considerable time. Please allow up to 24 hours for the recordings to be made available.
