Hi all
I have a general question,
i noticed that the default varsiwant in hysplit 5.3 is:
'TIME','INDX','LONG','LATI','ZAGL','SIGW','TLGR','ZSFC', TEMP',
'SAMT','FOOT','SHTF','DMAS','DENS','RHFR','SPHU','DSWF','WOUT','MLHT','PRES'
However, I ran hysplit 5.3 with the following varsiwant :
'time','indx','lati','long','zagl','zsfc','foot','samt','temp','dswf','mlht','dens','dmas','sigw','tlgr'
Is that wrong? Should I have any problems? Is hysplit able to read and put this variables into PARTICLE_STILT.DAT?
Thanks
stilt mode and varsiwant

Re: stilt mode and varsiwant
Hi,
that is not a problem. The HYSPLIT output writing routine is written so that the column order of the output files matches the list you give as VARSIWANT.
Best,
Moritz
