discrete calculation possibility

I have used HYSPLIT for continuous release of source term. I was wondering to know that Is there possible to repeat calculation for some hours daily release of source term discretely? for example 8 hours release in every day for one year.

Yes, you can use the Emission Cycling option in PC HYSPLIT or the EMITIMES file in LINUX to setup a repeating emission scenario. In the PC version, go to the Advanced/Configuration Setup/Concentration menu and click on Item 6 (Define EMISSION CYCLING or input file). Click on the Help button there for more details.
