Issue with Accessing Meteorlogical Archives

Whenever I try to download archive files (for 6.1 of the tutorial), I get an error:

Error: Local directory now C:\hysplit\working.
Interactive mode OFF .
Connection closed by remote host.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you!

Were you using the HYSPLIT GUI for downloading? If not, what was the ftp program you were using?

Yes, I was downloading through the HYSPLIT GUI.

We were able to reproduce the issue. While we are working on a fix, you might want to use a third party ftp client like WinSCP, FileZilla, etc. to download archived meteorology files: see https://www.ready.noaa.gov/archives.php for detailed instructions.
