Run Daily option through script

Hello,
How can I run the "Special Runs/Daily" option using a script instead of GUI?

The tutorial includes both batch and bash scripts for running each portion.
These can be accessed from the yellow toolbar at the top by clicking the penguin icon (bash script) or chalkboard icon (batch script).

If you download the tutorial you can also find them in the bash and batch subdirectories.
