An obscure SEGMENTATION FAULT error (SIGSEGV)

Post by joaolucas »

I'm using the pre-compiled hysplit binaries to convert a set of WRF NetCDF4 files to ARL format. For some of this files the process is successfully completed, but for a specific grid resolution I got a segmentation fault:

Using an existing decoding configuration: WRFDATA.CFG
HYBRID_O:NetCDF: Attribute not found
Use hyb_opt=1
TITLE :NetCDF: Attribute not found
Using an existing encoding configuration: ARLDATA.CFG
NOTICE pakset:
Number of index records = 1
Number of records /time = 237
NOTICE pakini: start initialization rec = 1
NOTICE pakini: end initialization rec = 237

Program received signal SIGSEGV: Segmentation fault - invalid memory reference.
