NOAA GDAS1 FTP data not downloading

Hey all,
I'm trying to download some GDAS1 archive files using the server access. I've done this for probably 20-30 files already. For the past few weeks I've been having this problem where when try to download them I get the following error:
The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “gdas1.apr08.w5” can’t be read or written.
(Error code -36)
Has anyone had this error before and has a fix? Thanks for your help.
