Order of columns in binary file (converted to ASCII)

Dear HYSPLIT team,
I have been using the Source-Receptor Matrix approach, and I converted the binary file to ASCII to get a closer look at the coefficient matrix. For the starting locations, I used a grid of a few hundreds of points. The resulting columns of the coefficient matrix are named using hexadecimal numbers, and I was wondering whether they are named by row/column starting from which corner of the grid. Thank you for your time.
Best regards,
willsheo
