Hi,
I have one question.
"HYSPLIT USERS GUIDE(https://www.arl.noaa.gov/documents/repo ... _guide.pdf)" shows HYSPLIT4 has "Pointer select".
I'd like to use this but I cannot find it on HYSPLIT4 on windows.
Does only old version-HYSPLIT include it?
Please tell me how to find this.

In the GUI, Concentration / Display / Concentration / Pointer Select

I'm looking for it but I cannot find it in Concentration / Display / Concentration.
Display menu of Concentration has just only Contours, Grid Values, Global Grid and Polar Grids...

Now I realize I was using an older version - April 2018 Release (SVN 951) - that does have Pointer Select. The more current version September 2019 Release (Version 4.2.0) - does not have it. It is an application that is no longer supported. We also need to update the online User's Guide you reference. Sorry for giving you incorrect information, and not having updated the User's Guide. We will work on the User's Guide.

On the web where you download hysplit - https://www.ready.noaa.gov/HYSPLIT.php - the 32-bit version that we also no longer support, does have the Pointer Select feature.

Good to know, so that's why I couldn't do it either. Is it planned to bring this function back later on?

No. It was removed because we wanted consistency between all HYSPLIT versions and it was not available for the Mac.

Thanks, it makes sense. Could it be possible then to actualise the user's guide, or at least to put an addendum after it?
