Question about meteorograma

Good morning, Sorry, but my English is not very good. My name is Fermin, and I am a Wildfire technician.
I use “current&Forecast Meteorology” many years ago, the meteorogram tool.
I enter the coordinates (latitude and longitude), and I choose GFS model meteorogram. Then, I select diferents Fields.
My question is: the parameter” Temperature 2m AGL”, for what altitude is it? Sea level or the altitude of the chosen point? Anyway, this temperature doesn´t resemble with any altitude (not at 1000 mb not at the altitude of the selected point).
If, for example, I wanted to know the temperature of a point at an altitude at 1000 meters, how should I do it? choose the coordinates and then use the temperature parameter at 2 meters or the temperature (3D) at 900 hpa for those same coordinates?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
