Hi everyone,
I have some inquires:
1- Can I use Hysplit to study the dispersion of pollutants over Airport?
2- how can I plot vertical cross section for the concentration, with heights on y-axis?
3- after converting the concentration to shapfile and try to open it in QGIS, the figure like as there is only one value.
Best regards,
Zeinab

Re: Simulation over Airport and using QGIS
1. See a description of HYSPLIT limitations at https://www.ready.noaa.gov/hypub/limitations.html
2. The HYSPLIT package does not include a program to plot vertical cross-sections of concentration.
3. Is the figure in QGIS different from the same plot in postscript/gif/pdf? Did you choose 'polygons' in the conversion step? Is the concentration grid not large enough, as depicted by a 'straight line' edge to the plume?
