Calculate trajectories of many sources

Post by hernandezcortes »

Hello,

My name is Danae Hernandez Cortes and I am a student trying to use HYSPLIT for modelling pollution dispersion. I would like to calculate the particle trajectories of 1200 point sources. I would like to know if there is a way to automate this in the batch processing option. I could do it manually introducing the coordinate pairs but I wanted to know if there is a more efficient way to do this. I am using the HYSPLIT 4 registered users version and I am a Microsoft user.

Thanks,

Danae

Yes! you can script your HYSPLIT runs.
Please go through the tutorial. This part explains how you can access example scripts.

You should be able to find an example script that you can modify for your purposes.
