Application error in display data

In the PC (Windows, 64 bit) registered version of HYSPLIT, while running the 'Display Data', 'Check file' option the following error is encountered

" Error: couldn't write file chkfile.txt......
couldn't write file "chkfile.txt": permission denied

Can anybody please help me out of this.

From that message, it looks like you do not have permission to write to the working directory of HYSPLIT. Check in the Advanced/Configuration Setup/Set Directories submenu for what is defined as the "Working directory" and make sure you have permission to write there.
