Hi,

I am trying to run a concentration simulation, but get the following error: Model started ...

*ERROR* conset: Number of levels exceed limit

I am running it for 100 vertical levels for a height of 500 m AGL for those levels (i.e., I want to run the simulation every 100 m between 0 and 5000 m AGL). Is it not possible to run the model at > 1 vertical level?

You will need 50 vertical levels to set 100 m layers between 0 and 5000 m. The maximum number of vertical layers is 99.

Thanks Ariel. I changed to 50 vertical levels and 100-m layers. However, now I am getting this error, but it is not clear to me what it means. Could you please advise?

In the line after the definition of the 50 layers you have to set your verical layer.
It should be 100 200 300 400 500 etc.

I am using the GUI to run daily simulations for a total of 3 different months, so how can I have the program create the control file correctly without manually manipulating it for every day?

In the GUI, go to Concentration/Special Runs/Daily

I know how to run the daily simulations, that is the easy part, but when I try to do that, I get the error (see below for it again). The control file I sent that is automatically generated in the GUI is apparently the wrong file based on what you have said previously. So how can I fix this so that it runs daily and generates the correct control file?

You will have to write your own CONTROL file and use the Retrieve button in the Concentration Setup menu. In that way the model will use the CONTROL file that you created.
