dispersion model in water

I want to know if Hysplit can be used to study the dispersion of radioactive nuclides inside the water, and if not, is there a model developed by NOAA for that?

HYSPLIT does not access oceanic data. I am not too familiar with NOAA's water models but a place to start may be the Global Real-Time Ocean Forecast System - https://polar.ncep.noaa.gov/global/
