Hi, recently there is a new data for GFS which has 0.25 degree resolution and the gfs2arl only works with 1 degree and there is another for long range in 2.5 degree but it cannot be changed for it to take higher resolution data.
Are you planning to create a new converter? GDAS is an option but we would like to be able to use GFS.

Try the program grib2arl. That is a more general program than the gfs2arl. The input must be in grib1 format, not grib2.
