Advanced menu editing and matter of run file

Post by solkim »

Dear HYSPLIT Users.

I am looking for a way to run a simulation without using the GUI.
I know i can run a simulation using the hycs_std.exe file which is in exec folder.
However, hycs_std.exe doesn't seem to reflect the setup.cfg file that is created when modifying the advanced menu.
I must do the simulation by reflecting the setup.cfg file.
Tell me what exe file should i need to run to run the hysplit model using the setup.cfg file.
Or Tell me what option should i edit to reflect the number of pollutant particles.

I really really need your help.
please let me know.

Best regards

You might benefit from examining files within the 'testing' directory inside your hysplit installation. There are script files named xrun.bat and xrun.scr for Windows and Linux, respectively. These scripts run more than hundred cases for testing purposes.
