Single Site Profile

Post by Smaug »

Hi,

Is HYSPLIT capable of accepting a single site profile as a meterological input? This would be a list of heights and all the necessary variables at each height that HYSPLIT requires?

Thanks

Only for one height. See Section 3.5 User-entered meteorology in the Tutorial.

I just found out there is a program snd2arl that can convert a single-site profile: snd2arl. This is not in the GUI, but the program is C:\hysplit4\exec\snd2arl.exe. Run this in the Windows Command Prompt and it will give you the Help.

Is there any more information about this program? I couldn't find anything in the user manual.
