Hi,

Section 12.4 of the tutorial uses data from multiple samplers to produce a source sensitivity function. The grid cell with the highest source region is taken to be the estimate of the release location.

1. Is there any literature/reading that can mathematically describe what these source sensitivity functions are? The HYSPLIT manual states that these are source regions that contribute to the measurement at the sampling location but is there a definition that is more rigorous or derivative?
