How do you set your wet deposition only run?
Can you please send me the CONTROL file that you use for each of the 4 test cases?

Your results are somewhat confusing because you need to be very careful when setting the parameterizations to describe a depositing particle in the model.

Setting the particle diameter, density, and shape to non-zero values defines the pollutant as a particle rather than a gas. This implies that the particles will undergo settling independently of the definition of the dry and wet deposition parameters.
On the other hand, if you set your dry deposition to a value different from zero, this value will be added to the settling velocity to calculate the advection.
If you want to separate the wet from the dry deposition you will have to force the dry deposition (and settling) to a very small negative value (-1.0E-10) so that we can see only the effects of wet deposition. A negative value in this field is a special case where mass is not lost to dry deposition.

so how can we consider different particle size (particle diameter) in the Concentration model?
as an example, I want to the consider the situation that all particle sizes are 3 um and Compare the results with the situation that all particle sizes are 6 um!?
consider that the situations mentioned are for PM10 concentration Model.

In your CONTROL file you will have to define the particle diameter with a value different from zero.

Multiple source locations and multiple pollutants

I want to understand if hysplit can analyze a case where I have multiple source locations (~120 locations) releasing about 15 pollutants (each with a different property e.g., size, density). I would need the combined effect of exposure to individual pollutants in a certain location arising from multiple source locations.

Does hysplit preserve the properties of the pollutants (for e.g., a dense particle would be deposited close to the source location than a lighter pollutant particle)?
