Multiple species simulation

I need to run a two species simulation. If I define X particles in the advaced concentration menu, then I have X or X/2 particles for each specie?

By default, each pollutant is released on its own particle or puff so that if you had 10000 particles defined and 2 pollutants, 5000 would be for pollutant 1 and 5000 would be for pollutant 2.
