Question:
Is there a way to run multiple trajectories with a single command in hysplit? I know you can create multiple input files using the daily run feature, however, I have only been able to run these files individually. I thought I could run multiple trajectories at a single time by creating a infile and running it with the create a trajectory frequency plot but nothing happens when I hit execute display.

Answer:
Run Daily does compute trajectories and output files named with tdump and the date in the filename. No plots are made. The file INFILE is read by the frequency program. Open INFILE in Notepad. That should be a list of the tdump files. If there is no folder (directory) name then it is assumed the files are in c:\hysplit4\working. If INFILE is ok, and the tdump files are there, Execute display should work, but sometimes it takes a minute.
