HYSPLIT Forum: hysplitbbs.arl.noaa.gov

HI,

I am a beginner of hysplit user.
I try to do Trajectory with 3 different periods, and I had got the 3 wrfout files.
I know the wrfout files must be transfered to BIN file with arl format, so that I can run.
I had searched some information.But I really don't know how to start my work, cause I'm not good at programming language.
If you know the whole steps or how to do , please respond me.
I really need help.Thank you!

To convert a WRF-ARW output file to an ARL file using the gui, click on Meteorology -> Convert to ARL -> WRF-ARW, define the intput and output filenames and directories, and then process the data.

To convert using the executable in a linux environment, use the arw2arl program.
