Top of model domain

Hi
In our simulations we have selected 15000m as the value for the “top of model” in the CONTROL file, but we have found some outputs in which this limit is exceeded in several points before Hysplit cuts the trajectory: We also have found some trajectories that Hysplit has cut before they reach the height limit: And we have even found some trajectories that exceed the “top of model” in several points and then they continue below this: We are working with GDAS1 data.
Can someone tell us which criteria does Hysplit apply to cut these trajectories?
