backtrajectory hitting ground

Post by JaeminHong »

Hi, everyone!

I`m using hysplit backtrajectories with altitude of 500m, and they sometimes hit the ground, 0m.
I wonder whether those ground-hitting trajectories actually have information of ground, or they lose reliability.

Thanks in advance,
Jaemin Hong
